Bluetest AB achieved highest turnover ever
For fiscal year 2012, Bluetest AB increased sales more than 100 percent – achieving the highest turnover in the history of the company. Reasons include high demand of solutions for Over-The-Air MIMO measurements of mobile phones and other wireless devices.
Kjell Olovsson, Bluetest AB CEO, says: “Our sales of MIMO enabled reverberation test systems used for mobile phones and mobile devices, currently the biggest market segment for Bluetest, has increased according to plan. In addition, we are meeting solid demand from our customers for the recently introduced W-LAN test system.”
The huge increase in sales during the year was possible thanks to higher demand, development of new products and recruitment of new staff. In Asia, a regional sales manager was recruited in order to expand the presence in this important region. Bluetest plans to continue increasing the staffing in both Sweden and Asia during this year.
Bluetest is now launching TTS11 (Throughput Test System 11), an instrument for IP throughput testing for the W-LAN 802.11a/b/g/n standards. To measure the throughput versus received power level is the best way to characterize a W-LAN device and to distinguish between good and bad transceiver design solutions. The instrument is an excellent tool for fast and accurate W-LAN throughput measurements on the IP layer. The developer can measure how the W-LAN chipset perform, how good the antennas are and what antenna positions are optimal. Using the TTS11 for IP throughput measurements will reflect the end-user experience of the device.
