Bluetest has now released support for OTA MIMO LTE Carrier Aggregation (LTE CA) measurements. The first systems were delivered to customers in June.

Klas Arvidsson, Head of Product Management says: We believe we are the first on the market to offer support for LTE CA OTA measurements. The focus is on Throughput measurements but also TIS (receiver sensitivity) and TRP (transmitter power) is possible to measure. Measuring LTE CA with MIMO means that two streams on each carrier, in total four separate streams, are connected simultaneously to the measurement system. The LTE CA option is easily added to our 4x4 MIMO system that was released last year. LTE CA support is available both for Communication Tester Rohde & Schwarz CMW500 and Anritsu MT8820C.
