China Academy for Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) enhance their testing capacity, and international certificate scope, by installing the Bluetest RTS85HP base station OTA reverberation chamber. The chamber is in full operation and CAICT has already implemented the testing of integrated antenna base station (type 1-O) and passed the OTA RF certification in Brazil.

With the ongoing development of technology, reverberation chamber is one of the important systems of OTA RF performance testing. In the field of base station testing, the reverberation chamber test methodology has been adopted into 3GPP standards. In the field of terminal testing, the reverberation chamber was officially certified as a standard testing system for large form factor devices by CTIA.

CAICT has passed the accreditation of CNAS and A2LA, the laboratory is the first Chinese third-party testing institution with a top brand reverberation chamber with base station testing capabilities. CAICT can now provide base station and large DUT/equipment OTA test, and also meet CTIA wireless terminal OTA testing to offer customers a wide range of testing and certification services.
